Simple Omelette
Always to great way to start the day. Omelette's are low carb, high in fat & protein, and easy to make. I made this recipe as simple as possible, but included a few optional ingredients that I personally like to use. Feel free to add whatever spices & vegetables you like!

Equipment
- Nonstick Frying Pan
Ingredients
- 3 lrg eggs
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese I recommend cheddar or Monterrey Jack
- 1 scallion (optional)
Spices
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 pinch garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Add eggs to medium sized bowl and whisk.
- Chop scallions and add to bowl with eggs with spices. Mix.
- Heat medium sized nonstick pan and add butter.
- After butter is melted, spread it evenly across the pan and pour in omelette mix from the bowl
- Wait about 1 1/2 minutes and flip with spatula.
- Add cheese to half of omelette and fold in pan with spatula. Fry each side for about another 30 seconds.
