Simple Omelette

Simple Omelette

Always to great way to start the day. Omelette's are low carb, high in fat & protein, and easy to make. I made this recipe as simple as possible, but included a few optional ingredients that I personally like to use. Feel free to add whatever spices & vegetables you like!

Equipment

  • Nonstick Frying Pan

Ingredients

  • 3 lrg eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese I recommend cheddar or Monterrey Jack
  • 1 scallion (optional)

Spices

  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 pinch garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  • Add eggs to medium sized bowl and whisk.
  • Chop scallions and add to bowl with eggs with spices. Mix.
  • Heat medium sized nonstick pan and add butter.
  • After butter is melted, spread it evenly across the pan and pour in omelette mix from the bowl
  • Wait about 1 1/2 minutes and flip with spatula.
  • Add cheese to half of omelette and fold in pan with spatula. Fry each side for about another 30 seconds.
